ABOUT ME

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”center” up=”7″ down=”38″][vc_column_text]

I’m an award-winning director, writer and editor, born and raised on the island of Sotra, on the Western coast of Norway, currently living and working in Los Angeles.

I’ve been honing my craft as a filmmaker ever since I was allowed to use a camera. With an early start making a Star Wars fanfilm at the age of 12 and a BA (University of Bergen) and an MFA (Loyola Marymount University) in Film and TV Production I’ve got both the drive to pursue my passion, and a formal education to back up that passion.

An adventurer at heart, I’ve always believed that experience creates the best foundations for great stories. That’s one of the reasons I’ve done my best to explore the world as I’ve been working at becoming a better filmmaker, which has taken me to events like the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, The Tour de France and The Amazing Race Norway, where my versatility let me work with editing and sound recording.

Since entering the LA film industry I’ve been steadily directing and putting out original content. This past year I directed an action filled branded short for CollegeHumor; the first season, six episodes in total, of the digital series Kyloki, a super-villain roommate comedy; Fatigued, a digital comedy pilot about an all female army bootcamp; five short-form digital concepts for TBS The Heckler; a commercial for a new casting app, Upcast; as well as a proof-of-concept for a TV show and a series of promos for USA/Fandango and Red Lobster.
